01Overview

A reusable identity wallet: one verified check, shared as a signed attestation carrying only the fields the other side needs.

02The problem

Customers of a brokerage group verified themselves separately for each licensed entity, uploading the same documents four times. Copies of identity papers accumulated in four systems, and every duplicate was a liability nobody wanted to hold.

One verification queue serving four licensed entities from a single group vault
03What we built
  1. 01

    Verify once, properly

Document authenticity, liveness and screening run once to a standard every entity accepts, with the underlying documents held in a single vault.

  2. 02

    Share fields, not files

The customer approves a named set of attributes. The requester receives a signed attestation and never receives the documents at all.

  3. 03

    Dated and revocable

Every attestation carries a validity period and can be revoked, so a stale check expires instead of quietly ageing inside someone's database.

Compliance signs off a request: four fields shared, both documents withheld
A second entity onboards an existing customer in nine seconds, nothing re-uploaded
04The result

Onboarding an existing customer to a second entity fell from days to seconds, and redundant document stores were decommissioned.

What changed

Verified identity
Reuse once
Minimal fields
Signed attestations
Per customer
Fewer document stores
The signed attestation record: dated, revocable, and carrying no documents at all

Do you have an idea, or a problem?

Either works. In my experience the second one goes faster.
